I would say that if you want a really good gaming computer your cost would have to be 700-1200 Usd depending on sales and stuff.

Most gaming laptops/desktops by ASUS are generally good for their prices, if you aren't into creating an entire computer. On the other hand, just doing some general research into the topic or maybe finding someone who knows a little more about it would be useful in your case.
My brother is a pretty general computer whiz and might be able to help you if you're interested. On the other hand, he doesn't like to talk to many people I know. Considering you aren't my age though he might let up and have a chat.
